The map has never reset. Almost everything else has: versions, spawn, staff, Discord, who holds the egg, who is still standing on Lag Mountain. This is a public-record chronicle from in-game chat, signed books, the player wiki, contest relics, and the files the world left behind. Coordinates stay unpublished. If you were there and we got a name or a date wrong, say so in Discord.
The community encyclopedia is the AZPBMD / LawlessMC wiki, started by willfish08. Primary sources also live in the chat archive and the item catalog.
wilderop stamped the EULA at 03:09 Eastern and opened survival. First public chat is him and CranberryCurtis looking for Discord. The next morning HvsNotch (Stan) is already on, and wilderop calls xXcreeperquakeXx (Rosa) “our 3rd player ever.” Nobody has OP. There is no TPA. The seed is already a secret. The map is still this map.
Stan would not fix a smashed oak door. wilderop kept the hole, named the server after it, and posted r/mcservers asking someone to come repair it. Paper, not Mojang dedicated — Reddit dinged the “vanilla” claim. CranberryCurtis spent the day on medieval towers. The next day he actually fixed the door.
a zombie pigman broke this door. stan refused to fix it. so now the name of the server is “A Zombie Pigman Broke My Door.”

wilderop: the repaired door wrecked the whole recruitment story. bobgoogwin123 admits an auto-miner on a Wurst client; Rosa notes they do, in fact, have a cheating rule. wilderop AFK-fishes a four-story farm, dies to a spider in full diamond carrying thirty more, and writes a script to snapshot the world whenever a new playerfile appears. CranberryCurtis discovers zombies cannot break a door that is already down.
YeahJustHi asks if swearing and “mild racism” are allowed. wilderop: no rules on that. PvP is on. The world border starts tiny on purpose so people bump into each other, then expands when YeahJustHi wants woodland mansions. Seed stays confidential. They are still on Paper 1.12.2 because wilderop says 1.14 is too slow. Anti-xray is the Paper extra. He will not teleport lost players. “Bad precedent.”
Public chat goes thin until October. That is missing logs, not a wipe. When talk resumes, Vorld_ still asks for /tp and wilderop still does not know a command. There has never been one.
The first group that actually kills the dragon gets robbed. TelestoProdigy’s history book Age of Rebirth — copies still sit on lobby lecterns — names YeahJustHi: he grabbed the egg, flew the End on a hack client, taunted the rest, and logged off promising never to come back. On 18 November wilderop pulls the egg out of that ender chest and gives it to Loot_Wizard, who hands it to Grimalackt the same day. CaptainSparta, YourBoyBrute, momo8032, and OverPower_Moth get the achievement in turn. Then Grimalackt goes inactive and the egg is sealed again. The egg is the crown of the server. Usually there is one. On AZP, circumstances have made more.

TelestoProdigy, Age of Rebirth
Loot_Wizard, Grimalackt, momo8032, cardboardsmurf, YourBoyBrute, cyborg900 — the first real SMP core, a lot of them coming over from SimplyVanilla. Peak around fifteen. A nether hub so new players can flee spawn. Alex griefs the enderman farm with a lavacast and what wilderop calls a low-effort penis; not banned for boatfly, that was someone else. wilderop floats “Protectors of Spawn,” donate-for-op council. Loot_Wizard: you made an anarchy server so you could put a government on it. Mob cap stays 70. K1kato later “goes full griefer” and dumps an ender dragon on momo’s End work.
Discord is bridged. The owner account in game is “Broken Door.” Someone asks if that is God or Santa. The thank-you for Patreon is still the same: talk in survival from Discord. December is the first huge chat month.
Cloud (HolyCloud, HarmlessCloud, FarmerCloud, MeanCloud — pick a weather) joins 20 February and never really leaves: cactus XP farms the size of the render distance, spawn build contests, chat that makes anarchy players flinch. Jacker2112 arrives mid-February planning to talk shit, grief, steal, and leave; Aoeuvrox invites him to a base, Jacker later absconds to an underwater “Area 69” with KmFxRiver. ThatsDominion joins 23 March, dies a lot, gets gear from cardboardsmurf, teams with Dragonman2289. TelestoProdigy joins 10 May and becomes the chat archive’s all-time voice. Monticelli has already been talking since April. Valentine’s Day 2020 is the loudest single day ever recorded — fifty-two thousand public lines. Withers and PvP at the top of the file. Do not ask us to read the rest in one sitting.
A lobby museum plaque calls this the first real communal town: iron farm, gunpowder, villager hall, an arena, and the map art “Evil Cloud Is Gay.” It is established in February 2020 and later compromised by EvilCloud after a run-in with Akunahten. Iron-block buildings get stripped. The plaque’s lesson is the usual one: the site is a relic, and you should assume it will be found.
Staff start putting contests on spawn so people have a reason to walk toward 0,0 instead of only away from it. Cloud submits three builds. The catalog is still full of the prizes: Easter Island Carrots, Freedom Fireworks, Pirate’s Devotion banners, Hazel’s Fork (a trident that was supposed to be a 4th-of-July BBQ skewer and never got used because of social distancing), Wilder’s Lucky Pickaxe from a mining contest. KmFxRiver edits a contest video and wishes for a dragon head with her helmet’s enchants; wilderop adds Curse of Binding. The relics are real items. They still exist in inventories.
A lobby book dates the Merchant Guild to 6 May 2020 — Aoeuvrox and Akunahten, later CaptainSparta, Dragonman, Firebird, PurpIcicle, ThatsDominion, ComputerGold, larperox. They drain a guardian temple rather than risk Cloud finding an End HQ. On 15 May Akunahten wins a copy of the dragon egg as a contest wish and passes the achievement to ComputerGold, Dragonman2289, ThatsDominion, and Wulfyre. Telesto calls that the Age of Prosperity.
1.16 is in. Akunahten tries to turn the egg into Merchant Guild currency via a rumored baby-piglin dupe. He hands a shulker of valuables — egg included — to a baby piglin. The piglin walks off a ledge into a lake of lava. Telesto dates the Age of Ruin from about 10 November. A hardcore-world contest to kill the dragon and win a survival egg is won on 25 October by x_Fischi, already banned for hacks. On New Year’s Eve wilderop gives C4armadillo the achievement for helping with stability tests. The egg itself is still gone.
BruBanana, IronManHD, and bennet18 found the HellsAngels Order — German players who know each other in real life, later joined by jolan_mp5, LuckySoldat, arnefc, SirMaxinator, tariq777, FridgeOfFire. Their first main base dies. They make landfall on a small island they call Hell’s Landing (tent, hobbit hole), then raise the Black Keep from late 2021: deepslate walls, a 134-block keep, four courtyards, a bell tower, Hell’s Gate. A lobby plaque says the castle/city in one corner is about 500k deepslate by itself. Delta Outpost is dated 16 September 2021. A 110-block Monument Tower replica, with their Honor / Iustitia / Caritas book, stands in the lobby next to a full map of the Keep.
On Reddit he writes that he started the server in June 2019 because he was set to deploy to Afghanistan in July, and that with a first child on the way he is handing the reins to volunteer staff picked from the playerbase. The map does not reset. nocheatsmc.com is the IP of record for a long stretch. 1.16 is in.
wilderop runs two consecutive spawn build contests. The second week has one entry: TelestoProdigy. Nobody knew the prize. It is a wish. On 22 February he is given a cursed dragon egg that drops the holder to half a heart. He passes the achievement to commcarlyle, Hippoanonymous, and vrgncnt69 that day, later PigeonPlz, patrk55, SkDiCaz (End Stronghold City contest), Monticelli, and others. He accidentally places the cursed egg and it becomes a normal one. As of the book’s last page, 8 December 2021, he has held it 289 days. Copies of that book are in the lobby museum.
April map-art contest. A lobby plaque says PigeonPlz dove a still-water lake and came back with a banner. She is crowned Queen of Axolotls. No known effects. Determination and patience, according to the card.
Telesto walks a newbie through the ladder: 1.15.2, then 1.16, now 1.17. Map never resets. Hippopotanonymous is on Bedrock from a phone and decides she respects phone players. There is already a PvP world. A charity stash sits on the nether roof at the world origin. Crystal PvP rivalry: vrgncnt69 versus jaqar. Telesto’s own log says Momo, Hippo, Firebird9k1, and Telesto start a lobby area late in the year. By December Discord says almost ten thousand unique joins. momo and Brute still have a base from 18 November 2019. wilderop waits for the Paper download page to lose its red bar before 1.18. On Christmas the ads mention a lobby and a monthly hardcore map. Survival stays the old world.
Jacker2112’s signed book keeps bonus chapters: Strength 500 on KmFxRiver after a fight, ten million TNT spawned “by accident” that crashes the box and forces a chunk rollback, a bedrock cube in moobihh’s sorter, OP vexes, a wither that kills River’s birds. The last page is just “Wilderop is a weenie.” Treat it as a player’s war story. The rollbacks are the part that matches how this world is actually run: grief is gameplay; wiping the map is not.
He leaves on foot through the +/+ quadrant, hides in an “Underground Meth Lab,” finds a spider grinder, leaves for eight months, comes back to a wrecked hideout, and later founds Melonchurch. He is also the one who starts the Miraheze wiki. New Year Cobble from the 2022 prize table is still in the catalog.
A community base: ThatsDominion, Hippoanonymous, La_Carrota, Cloud, wilderop, Folzz, MISHISTHEBISH, PigeonPlz, seenun, Akunahten, TelestoProdigy. Some people join on alts to feel new. The wiki’s one-line history of the end is “The grief of Hale and Budzor.” Later groups will copy the alt-start trick at Archipelago.
July is sixty thousand chat lines. Someone is “doin a megabuild.” Telesto is hours into filling a shulker of bubble coral. Spawn is already a lavacast country. The version sits in the 1.18–1.19 years. The map is three years old and still the same file.
HaleSt0rm1 joins 9 July 2023 — builder, PVPer, later the face of the official trailer. SpeedyRaccoon starts talking in chat 12 July and does not stop: fifty thousand messages, Cave Bases, constant deaths, the person who is always in the lobby. Cave Base I starts 30 July with MercioZ, Speedy, Hale, ZaaahZoooh, LixVix, DU5TIN, StubUrToe, KazkoKiller, BigCruggus, Akunahten. vrgncnt69 griefs it 1 October 2024. Hale will later stand in front of Timelost Palace for a screenshot, moments before griefing it. The wiki hung that picture on the front page on purpose.
willfish08 builds Melonchurch into a spawn-adjacent home with farms and a floating temple, then a backup at Cherry Cove because 8k from spawn is not far enough. Summer: 1k Tower on the +X highway, raised with cobble-contest stone so new players have a bed and crops. La_Carrota adds a treehouse. Ultimate Survival Shelter contest carrots, steaks, and banners date to 2024. Halloween jack-o-lanterns. Mistletoe of Protection Against Herpes for Christmas, because the catalog is not a church newsletter.
For years lobby and PvP lived as Multiverse worlds on the survival JVM — a 2021 crash still ticks minecraft:pvp there. At the end of June 2024 they split into separate Paper processes. Survival stays survival. The live lobby later moves to Montreal. Java keeps moving through 1.20 into 1.21. Chat from late 2024 into spring 2025 is full of holes; the world is not.
The lobby is also a museum. BruBanana’s welcome book thanks Akunahten for an older collection that still makes up most of the exhibits: base maps (First City, the Oasis, Merchant Guild HQ, Spawn Castle, Mantis’s pyramid, a full Black Keep), literature, banners, and a short shelf of lore items. A Spawn Castle plaque notes Telesto as lead, eight helpers, and a chunk rollback after a vrgncnt69 incident that restored the griefed castle — “the griefed version of this base map DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE.” HellsAngels’ Monument Tower replica is in the same world.
The wiki’s name for the mess is the Big Discord Delete. While people are still arguing about what the server even is, Hippoanonymous proposes a streamed community base in a scattered-island ocean. Portal down 28 February 2025. First claim ThatsDominion, 4 March. BruBanana, momo8032, La_Carrota, Monticelli, usi6, Cloud, Mish, PigeonPlz, later Aalbesss. Members vote invites. Some arrive on alts, Houseroomlantopia-style. They know a bigger roster means a shorter secret.
He joins, lives at spawn, plants a flower greenhouse and museum, extends highways, sleeps at 1k Tower after it is blown in the summer. The weekly Reddit ads tell the betrayal: he gears a new player, walks them past the withers to the greenhouse, and gets killed for it. The greenhouse burns. He goes back to spawn and builds anyway. Frankopank, another 2025 spawn kid, puts a bounty on 9D6 after a wither chase and a loot-and-leave; HaleSt0rm1 collects the gear and refuses the shulker of TNT.
willfish08’s Miraheze wiki goes live 18 June. HaleSt0rm1’s official trailer hits YouTube 23 July — ninety-nine seconds of the world as it actually looks. It is still the homepage background. Geyser has been carrying Bedrock through the proxy for a while by now; Hippo was already on a phone in 2021.
Old survival log files from 2019 are still named on disk. Many are empty. The public chat archive is rebuilt from yearly extracts, live backends, and Discord. That is why some months look quiet. The chunks do not care.
Years of lava casts piled a spawn mountain to Y 255. New players crashed on it. Monticelli and IronManHD ran a TNT sweeper, cut it to Y 118, and started turning the stump into a sanctuary so the next kid out of spawn has somewhere less lethal than the old cobble. The wiki still calls it cherished and feared. IronManHD, Monticelli, ALTERM, SpringApollo875, FirstMage, La_Carrota — names on the plaque.
A player owned the Discord. That player kicked wilder0p. He made a new Discord, removed staff, and put rule enforcement on a Player Council: twelve seats by activity, /propose, /councilvote, eight yeses to change a gamerule. First live argument is phantoms. Allium votes no because vanilla, and is holding extra seats on alts until wilder0p patches it to one person, one seat. “No one has op now.” Wither Kings have been hunting their spawners for about six months. Cinnobaby finds out they write in deep red. Monticelli, as SecondMage, still gives tours of years-old farms.
The discord had a player owner. When he kicked me from the discord, I got rid of all staff. Rule enforcement is by the player council now. It’s my replacement for staff.

One Spawn Cape sits at overworld spawn until someone picks it up. Wither Kings are on by default. Survival is Paper 26.2 on a Ryzen that used to be an i7. dontplaythisserver.com goes up on the Montreal box at the end of August. Java and Bedrock still join at lawlessmc.com. The pigman is still in the doorway.
Base coordinates. The seed. Private Discord drama that is not already in public chat or the wiki. A full plugin changelog — that is Technical and Features. Every signed book in a chest; Telesto’s OurServer volumes are mostly a peasant-rank join list, and half the other books are coords we stripped or poems we did not need. If you want the deep pages — Black Keep rooms, Melonchurch farms, who griefed whom on which Tuesday — that is what the wiki is for.
