survival extras
Features
Survival is still survival: no TPA, no sethome, map never resets. These are the custom bits that are not in a stock Minecraft world. Paper settings that change vanilla behavior live on the Technical page.
Spawn Cape
There is one. It sits at overworld spawn (0, 100, 0) until someone picks it up. It locks into the offhand: fly like an elytra, right-click to boost without rockets, and gain +1 reach.
- Overworld: any axis outside โ1000 to 1000 sends it back to spawn. A full-screen title warns you in the last 100 blocks.
- Nether: any axis outside โ250 to 250 does the same.
- The End and other worlds: you can enter, but the cape returns to overworld spawn.
- If it vanishes while you are 20 or more blocks off the ground, you get 20 seconds of Slow Falling.
- If you would die, it pops like a totem and your killer gets the cape. Void and
/kill still kill you.
- Disconnect: 60 seconds to rejoin and keep it. A survival reboot gives you 5 minutes.
- Every minute you hold it, you get 2 obsidian. Every hour banks 1 ancient debris; only a player who kills you collects that prize.
- Hold it long enough for a cosmetic Spawn Cape Keepsake, once per milestone.
- Location is broadcast every 5 minutes while someone holds it.
/cape, /cape off, /cape on, /cape help.
Wither Kings
Hardcore Withers: a spawned Wither can become a Wither King. The live config sets that chance at 20%, with at most 10 kings at once.
- Everyone sees a title when one is born. One online player is marked as its prey.
- A King has 600 health, Strength, and does not take arrow damage. It keeps a chunk loaded so it does not freeze in the unloaded world.
- It hunts that player: it retargets them, teleports if they get away, and sends a threat in chat about every 90 seconds.
- If the marked player dies, the lock drops. Normal withers that do not become kings still exist.
Sky worlds
Hold Dragon's Breath and fly above Y 1320 for three seconds. That sends you into the sky overworld (the same map as the old Paper sky). The nether still maps 8:1. Return the same way: Dragon's Breath in hand, fly up past Y 1320. There is a short fade and about a ten-second cooldown so you do not bounce back immediately. /server fabric is not a shortcut.
The sky dimensions use their own seeds. Those seeds stay unpublished, same as the main world seed.
Lore and relic items
Survival has custom named items with lore โ contest prizes, old relics, keepsakes. They are just items. Some of them apply effects while you hold them. The item catalog lists every non-vanilla item the world scan has found, drawn like the in-game tooltip. It does not show who has them or where they are.
If you stay offline for more than 180 days, those lore items are moved into a barrel at your last logout spot, with a sign, so they do not sit in a vanished inventory forever.
Player heads
Kill a player and their head can drop, tagged with who killed them and when. Ordinary mob heads from this plugin are a separate drop table; wither-skeleton skull farming is left to vanilla.
Unique kills
The first time you kill a given player counts as a unique kill and is announced. Repeat kills on the same person do not add another unique. /topkiller shows the board; /topkiller <name> checks one player.
Player council
Twelve seats, ranked by activity, recalculated weekly. Members can vote bans and pardons. Details and the current sitting list are on the council page.
